ITINERARY

Day 1: Treviso
- individual arrival at your hotel in Treviso for overnight.

Day 2: Treviso – Quarto d’Altino
After the visit of Treviso, an elegant city built around its beautiful square, with typical porches and   beautiful houses with frescos, you will cycle on the River Sile’s bicycle path, to reach Casale. The Sile is the longest resurgence river in Europe, rising from sources called “Fontanassi”. Along the way, swathed in greenery, you will see natural oases, mills and villas. Overnight in Quarto d’Altino.
34 kms/22 miles

Day 3: Quarto d’Altino – Litorale del Cavallino
The Siles’s fluvial environment, among cane thickets, gradually opens up to beaches of fine sand, that invite you to bathe. If you go further inland, you will see wonderful landscapes: not only strips of land that seem to be suspended, creating a play of lights and colours when they are reflected in the waters, but also isolated villages and flights of birds. Finally, we arrive at the Litorale del Cavallino, a peninsula that keeps its balance between the lagoon and the marine environment, with its 15 km of white sand bounded by the green of the maritime pines. Overnight in Punta Sabbioni.
51 km/32 miles

Day 4: Burano – Murano – Torcello
Leaving with the “vaporetto” boat service from Punta Sabbioni, visit three of the most famous islands of the North Lagoon: Burano, famous for the manufacture of lace; Murano, with the workshops of the master glassmakers; Torcello, with its byzantine churches and magnificent landscapes visible from the top of the bell tower. Overnight in Punta Sabbioni.

Day 5: Litorale Cavallino – Lido – Pellestrina - Chioggia
From Punta Sabbioni take the “vaporetto” to the Lido, cross by bike, and take the vaporetto again to Pellestrina, and on to Chioggia, little changed over the centuries: the shouting in the fish market, the porches and the “calli” full of people and the colourful “Bragozzi”, the fishing boats that line the canals. Return to Punta Sabbioni. Overnight Punta Sabbioni. 40 kms/23 miles

Day 6: Venice
Take the vaporetto to Venice to spend the day in La Serenissima, with its unique magic. Return to Punta Sabbioni. Overnight Punta Sabbioni.

Day 7: departure
After breakfast, end of the tour.
