Lake Brienz and the Bernese Oberland
A self-guided walking tour

LAKE BRIENZ is Switzerland's deepest lake and with its steep slopes and idyllic villages offers a unique scenery. The visitor will first notice the unique colour of the lake, which changes depending upon wind and weather from blue over turquoise to emerald green and looks particularly magnificent from one of the many lookout points over the lake. The region covers the southern part of the canton of Bern: the famous Bernese Oberland
