Italy 2010

THE AMALFI COAST & SORRENTO PENINSULA

A self-guided walking holiday along one of the most spectacular coastlines in Europe. The Amalfi Coast, or the Costiera Amalfitana, has for long been considered one of the great scenic places in Italy and in Europe. To really enjoy it is no longer easily possible by car, as the traffic along the single coast road makes it all but impossible to find space or time to enjoy the view. But on foot you can enjoy this magnificent area in all its splendour. Seven nights with six days walking will take you to Ravello, Amalfi, Positano, Marina del Cantone, and Sorrento, from where you can also take the boat to Capri for the day and do the walk we include, or visit Pompeii or Herculaneum.
We offer one itinerary with two price options.
