landscapes are monumental – with 35 valleys, over 90 lakes and
crashing waterfalls into impressive gorges. You will be collected from the airport on arrival and taken to your first hotel in Tatranska Lomnica.

| ITINERARY |
Day 1: Arrival Poprad-Tatry. Transfer to Grand Hotel Praha, Tatranska Lomnica for overnight.
Day 2:
Tatranska Lomnica to Pri Zelenom plese (Green Lake Valley) The first day's walk is a beautiful one through Zeleneho Plesa valley to the Green Lake. As this area is difficult to reach by vehicle you will need to take everything you need for one night as your bags will be tken to the Zamkovsko Hut where you spend the second night. There is a choice of three routes today - the shortest takes 3 hours and the longest trail takes 7 hours of moderate walking.Overnight Green Lake Chalet - Enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding peaks including the impressive 900 m high northern face of the Maly Kezmarsky peak.
Day 3:
Zelene pleso - Hrebienok - (6-7 hrs), moderate/hard
From the Green lake the route climbs up the top of Velka Svistovka (20 metres of chains!). From Velka Svistovka it is an easy walk to Skalnate pleso and then Zamkovskeho and Hrebienok. From the hotel take the funicular down to Hrebienok town where there are plenty of cafes, shops and atms.
Overnight Hrebienok Hotel (2 nights).
Day 4: Velka Studena Dolina walk - (6 hours), moderate
An enjoyable walk featuring a valley surrounded by high peaks and ridges - excellent views from the Velka Studena Dolina (Great Cold Valley). A chalet at 1960 metres will be able to provide welcome refreshment. Overnight Hrebienok.
Day 5: Hrebienok to Popradske pleso - (8 hrs), moderate
Today's walk willl cover three valleys -. Velicka valley situated below the eastern slopes of the Gerlachovsky stit (Gerlachovský Peak) - which is the highest peak in the High Tatras. Batizovska valley is situated in the central part of the High Tatras. You will enjoy magnificent views of Batizovsky, Kacaci, Popradsky ladovy and Gerlachovsky peak. Mengusovska valley from the top of Ostrva peak - the best for the last - view of Patria, Basty, Satan, Koprovsky, Vysoka, Draci peaks enchant everyone. Overnight in Popradske pleso in comfortable chalet beside the lake.
Day 6:
Rysy - (circular walk, 6-7 hrs), difficult
Today's route takes you up to Chata pod Rysmi, the highest altitude mountain chalet in the range, before proceeding to Rysy, on the border with Poland. The ridge in this area is frequently enveloped in mist and even in summer there is often snow on the ground which can make this walk difficult in places. Return to Popradske plese for final dinner and overnight.

4 star hotel in Tatranska Lomnica, Comfortable traditional mountain chalets. Sometimes a private room is not possible as there are only a few double/twin rooms in some places - ie. Green Lake Chalet. You will be informed at the time of booking if this is the case. Private bathrooms are available in some of the mountain hotels but not all.
